Somewhere, United States

The scores are in and I am writing this one last email, one week after returning home. Still struggling to adjust back to life in America...or struggling to find the desire to want to adjust back, you choose.

Ahoy friends! You have found my travel journal for my adventures around the world in 2006. I left the USA on Feb 23, 2006 and returned 10 months (297 days) later on Dec 16, 2006.

The trip was an amazing, life changing event, but what else would you expect me to stay?!

I went to 35 countries on 4 continents and made friends with people from many countries I didn't visit.

My trip took me from my home in Los Angeles to Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and then to China including Hong Kong. Then on to the United Arab Emirate of Dubai, England, Ireland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Macedonia, into Kosovo (Serbia), then on to Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovenia and Italy. From Italy I flew to Guatemala for 2 months of Spanish lessons, took a trip to Honduras and saw many places through Guatemala.

Check out my last entry for all the trip statistics and "bragging rights."
